Today I went to the main fansite for my previous fandom for the first time since Loki poked me in the chest with his Glowstick of Destiny and I just felt so soothed. I had forgotten what it was like to feel happy because of my fandom. To be able to peruse stuff from it without being terrified.
Also, I think there’s an argument on a rant I wrote a while back and I’m just covering the screen with my hand while I click away.
I just realized that our favorite deity, Loki, has rewarded all of us who are faithful to him by making us all smarter, nicer and better looking than everyone else. Science has proved this.
I’ve been looking at posts about favorite characters and so many people are complaining that their faves died in canon and I’m just like, You have no idea how lucky you are.
I just had to stop watching a show because a minor character endured a fate similar to that of Loki in TDW and I explained to Roommate that it was “too close to home”.
Apparently I now consider Asgard “close to home”.
I love Loki so much and this world does not deserve him.
I’m watching Curse of the Golden Flower right now and all I can think of is Loki watching it and freaking out because this family dynamic is all too familiar.
Though Odin must’ve sugar-coated it better than the emperor in this movie did, or Loki’d’ve killed him a thousand years ago for treating his mother like that.
Another movie Loki should never watch: The Lion In Winter. Three princes jockeying for their father’s throne. Yikes.
