I don’t get the posts I occasionally see declaring that T’Challa is richer than Tony Stark and just as much of a genius… and therefore everyone should forget Tony and be a T’Challa fan.
(Incidentally, at first I spelled BP’s name “T’Challah”. I bet I’m not the only Jew who’s ever done that. Also, now I want someone to add T’Challah to the Bread Avengers.)
What is this, Highlander? There can be only one? One of the nice things about this universe is that we can be fans of MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER. What a concept.
I can’t believe Tony had the audacity to listen to 117 countries when they said they didn’t want a paramilitary force being within their borders without consent.

Dude, paramilitary forces and all that they entail are literally the cancer that makes Rio de Janeiro one of the most dangerous cities of Latin America. It’s cute and all that North Americans and Europeans may not care suficiently about this but hey… It exists. Ignoring it won’t make it go away. Inform yourself people.
I feel you. Mom is from El Salvador (with indigenous descent) and the American intervention actually made things WORSE during our civil war and our military went unchecked and commited so many human rights violations…. But the guerilla rebels (FMLN) also nearly burned down my grandfather’s farm and my mom and aunts had to escape while my uncles fought them off. Civil wars are messy and tragic when its against your own….
And it isn’t lost on me that the countries that sealed the fate of the Accords being passed were predominantly African… where foreign intervention from western developed countries has been exceptionally disastrous and colonization has led to intergenerational strife.
